San Diego Carjacking
My girlfriend's father got carjacked when he was exiting Fletcher Pkwy last night at 9PM.
He said one car pulled out in front of him and then a truck boxed in behind him. They forced him over to the shoulder and then demanded he get out of the car, 1990 Honda Accord far from good condition(?!?!).
They only took the car, no money or physical harm. Thank God.
So watch out. San Diego isn't all peaches and cream that I used to think it was.
We're guessing it'll be a TJ drug running, etc. car now.

Other than that (which sucks donkey *****) it was running fine.
Actually I didn't update this. A towing/junkyard called that Sunday morning to say they had his car. He only had liability on the car so he had to pay the towing fee (like $300 my girl said) and the car was missing the rear tails and also the headlights and center console.

There are some cheap people out there. They risk getting arrested or even shot by someone who observes their right to carry a gun, instead of saving a few bucks and going to a salvage yard.
What LOSERS!!!

I wish I could legally roll with my Glock. But looking into a tazer. My co-worker lives in Navy housing and his wife was home asleep and two crooks actually tried to break in.
Fortunately, she woke up and when they saw her they ran off.
This crap is getting crazy.

Kaizenro, I had a similar incident when I came back from deployment early due to sustaining an injury to my knee.
Guy broke into my house around 130am. When I herd noises and went to check it out (.45 in hand). As soon as he herd me and of course saw that I was packing.
He ran out from where he came.
Bonehead criminal of the year award though. He dropped his wallet with ID while running out of my appt. Police picked him up and I ID'd him out of a line up about 2 days later. Good times. although He did bust my fish tank running out. Somehow only 1 out of 8 fish died. I manage to save them and buy a suplement tank the following morning at the px.
Telling all my friends in the 2/5 inf about this, and they couldnt stop laughing at all.
Sry I went off tangent. I hope they catch those bastards with some high speed CSI garbage and get them.

Yo, a fellow Vet. Kudos!
It would've been cool had you taken the credit cards out of the wallet and left them strewn about so someone could use them. Just a thought but unfortunately, I'd do the right thing too. ha
I know times are rough but methinks these are some people who box themselves into a corner and got to such low depths. Boo-urns!
Yeah, let's hope Karma cuts these guys' hands off.
