SAFC Tuning

hi i was wondering if anyone knew of any good SAFC tuners in the Los Angeles area, i was thinking about brainstorm performance, but i dont know that they do rotaries. thanks much everyone.

well symptoms of the car, fuel problems:
SAFC is or seems untuned. (i dont wanna take a chance at tuning it myself)
running crazy rich.
just smokes and smokes, even after warm up. (white smoke)

specs:
remanufacture 5900 miles
720 walbro fuel pump
680 secondarys

thanks again.

btw its a 88' 10th AE.

Your engine is blown- coolant seals. Save the money for the tune and rebuild it.

Well what are your safc percentages? I have a couple of buddies that have their cars drenched with fuel since they havent had anytime to tune and no smoke whatsoever.

with that kind of money, you can download the safc manual, get a wide band and tune yourself. at the end of it, you have the knowledge to make adjustments down the road

yep, that is rediculous for tuning especially for how simple it is to tune an SAFC, it should only take about 20 minutes to tune it.

You can check your percentages by going to setup mode and your fuel maps for the safc, try taking off some fuel at idle rpm and see how that affects your smoke levels. Just get a lc1 wideband and a laptop connection to datalog your a/f ratios and you can tune off that.

actually smoke isnt that bad at idle, just alittle bit, but then over 3k and you give it gas, its like VROOOOOSH spits out all this black smoke, and shoots fire. hahah. POP POP.

alright ill start looking for a wideband.
