Yo, Im an FC owner. I would just like to suggest that we should have a meet in Sacramento, since it is CA's Capitol. Hey this is just a thought. Since there was a meet in Davis, it shouldnt be that hard to drive like 5 more minutes to sacramento. Just post up your thoughts on that.

there are a lot of rx7 guys in sac and the valley area. just stay on here and you will meet them.

No Offense To Anyone, But Has There Been Any Meets With Like Adult Things Ot Do, Like Brews And Bbq , Cruise Or A Road Trip? Figure The 25+ Crowd Might Not Be Too Big On Video Games

 

unfortunately there would only be about 3-4 of us in the 25+ crowd then...

we do have BBQ's with some alcohol but not much since i dont think any of us support drinking and driving and we usually do not bother to designate drivers. there is plenty for us to do that caters to both younger and older folks. just make suggestions as we all do, the only things that the younger kids can't do is go to casinos, strip bars or regular bars and you dont need to do those to have fun.

I don't think a meet at a bar is a good idea. Now, what people do after the meet is their business.

Watch it!!! I'm not that old yet. But to answer the question, I agree with Ben. The reason we don't cater our meets around alcohol is because drinking and driving is an idiotic thing to do. We have had cruises after meets before and we've had a couple of BBQ's. We've even centered 2 or 3 meets around AutoX events. We just try to keep it mixed up so that people won't get bored. If you want to come to a BBQ when we hold it and have a few beers, that's fine. But we just won't promote it.

Perhaps this is why we don't have very good turnouts. No one bothers to look for our threads. TRY LOOKING for NORCAL 7's MONTHLY MEET in this section (WEST)
