I live down in the bay area but I will be up in Sac on the 19-20th, and 27-28th. Im down for any meet up. I wont have anything to do after 5pm on those days. but I need to know soon.

lol at this point i can make it to a gas station without stumble but i need to figure out the best way to replace my fuel pump bolts since i have a really bad feeling about those being all fucked up

 

im not sure what is causing this but sometimes when i sstop at a stoplight, my fc engine shuts off... any of u guys knw the whats causing this??

Most likely a vacuum leak. If you can stop at the light and put it in neutral and hold the revs up it's the most likely culprit.

 

Lol thats what i thought about the ghia too. Does it idle at all? Check the cheaper stuff first for sure though cause insead of replacing a $200 carb or sonething it could be a $5 problem.

Sound's like a vacuum leak to me as well. Will the engine cut out when sitting at home with your foot on the brake?



Guess I need to get my **** in gear and get my car back together so we can get some meet's going... ( yes it's finally got an engine in it now after all this time )
