I'm back in town. Thanks to Casey, Gabe, Jackie, and the rest of the crew who set RotorFest 2 up this year. You guys have done a great job of it so far! I'll be looking forward to seeing everyone there in a couple of weeks.

As far as the autoX I am running into a couple problems.
First the City considers the area too small. The City and BayArea SCCA guys suggested the old base at Alameda instead, but I am not sure who wants to drive across the bay bridge to do so. I am going to try hitting the guys up on the island again this week and see if I can get at least their permission.
2nd, I have big fears of us getting a Blue FC ******* (7stock three years ago- there was this idiot with a blue GXL an an open exhaust who thought it was the coolest thing in the world to open it up and make so much noise that the cops came and then started ticketing people).
Third is (as mentioned below) is the lack of other volunteers. I have the cones and db meter and should have a timing set up, but frankly don't want to be the only one running it, and doing the inspections, and checking the noise levels, and monitoring the timing, and posting the timing, and arguing with people when their times are not as studdly as they think they should be.
