the meet was cool. unfortunatly i got rear ended right before the entrance to the freeway when leaving. my car is pretty badly messed up.

The meet was very cool. It was just heaven to be around so many RX7's!!! Loved seeing the FB's that came out....my favorite car ever!!! However, I was totally falling in love with the FD's...GORGEOUS. Ah, maybe someday!!!

i mad cause i didnt make it i was working on my car all night for like 14 hours to get it ready for the meet then i tried to go and traffic was backed up for like 2 hours and i was like skew it theres next year so i hope my car will be better then ever by then

 

Problem came up at work, I just couldn't break away.

I am coming up on the end of the contract in February, and I will make enough money on this contract to probably retire, (yep I'll be retired at 45) but the hours right now are killing me.

No, I am working at one of the bigger newspapers in the bay area, that is going through some major restructuring.

For about the last 10 years, I have been contracting rather than being outright hired by a company. I usually do contracts anywhere from 6 months to 24 months. I go in, identify where the problems are and implement fixes. This one is becoming more problematic as the Unions are the biggest problem and on-site management doesn't always want to see the best way to fix things. For example shutting down the printing plants and outsourcing the printing will save 10+ million, in short term (less than 5 years), but they just are not getting the idea of becoming content providers instead of printers (which, lets face it... newspapers are dieing... everyone can get what they want to know from the Internet).

Yeah i'm glad my clutch and tranny lasted long enough to make it to the meet. I really enjoyed seeing all those rx7's and owners, just wished I got to meet more ppl local to me and socialized more before most people left. But yeah I took alot of pictures I just kept snapping until both my batteries died. They came out pretty clean i'll try to post them up some where soon. Nice seeing the rotaries staying alive. peace out guys
