Rotary Shops in the So Cal?

So I guess my seven is in need of a new heart. I'm looking for a rotary shop that does rebuilds located in so cal, but to no avail. The only reputable one I know of is Rick's rotary, but I'm not driving a seven that blows white smoke 300 miles to pleasantville. Any feedback is welcome. I'm Located in Cerritos. Thanks in advance.

Mazdatrix will be pricy...try Rotary Engineering (Albert) or SidePex (Norm) for pricing...Rotary Power will also probably be cheaper than Mazdatrix!

Rotary, reliability!?!? HAHA these two words don't belong in the same sentence. My last RX-7 let me stranded every other time I drove it and had bad electricals. Plus cold start is a bithc.

Why not just do it yourself? It's not that hard. Just have a shop port the housing's and buy some good seals...You can save a grip..

turbovert7 i kno price is an issue but theres juss so much more than saving money by working on it yourself. a few things from my perspective. Its a learning experience is the best way to become intimate with your car. When you drive it you'll know more about how it works. That way when another problem comes up which is inevitable for the most part you'll be able to troubleshoot faster and narrow down the possible problems. Also its pride man. No one is gonna put as much love and pride into ur ride as u the owner.

If any of my employees tell me that "This is what I read from the RX-7 forum," he will be heading to the unemployment line.
