this is what I heard or been told. To make it to Rotary fest, a few locals are:

1. Kissing *** or giving their hidden $$$ to the wifeys.
2. Been going deep with their boyfriends.
3. Driving wifey (not ms daisy) anywhere in town including Las Vegas.

PS:
Im not included in the above report.

better question is what route is everyone taking?

To SF I usually go up the I-5, then west 152 to Gilroy, then 101 through San Jose to SF.
I wouldnt call Hwy 152 as 'twisties' but it does have more turns than the I-5

2 of my bros cant leave friday morning due to work (month end stuff) and I cant let them drive alone since they arent and need my "proper adult supervision." Or else, they may end up at the side of road doing .

We may leave at 5 AM on Saturday morning. The rest of group are planning to leave early Friday around 6AM.

you dont wanna take that route unless its late at night or at midnite. that highway becomes a 2-lane road around Gilroy area.

your breaking up the group yoko.

ok, update:

i will be meeting up with anyone who would like to caravan to rotary fest here:

26455 Rockwell canyon road, santa clarita, ca 91355 @11a.m. on friday.

i know everyone else is a lot farther south, but i cant justify a good reason for me to drive an hour south, just to come back from where i came from. so yeah, pm me with any questions.

I already wake up before 5am for work days, dont need to do it on a day of vacation . Saturday it is then, good, saves me from having to spend $100 on a hotel.

Wacky: same meeting place on Saturday morning?

so far only one other person lol, my friend's red FD, and im not sure he is even going. everyone else seems to want to leave saturday morning, so if you want to save some cash on a hotel, go for that. im just staying with family so i dont really have anything to worry about.

Hey, how many of you guys from down south are bringing old school cars? I'm just wondering if maybe we should start a "parts swap" thread if there will be enough cars. I've got quite a bit of RX-2 stuff, etc. and am looking for plenty of stuff. Figured it might be an easy way to avoid shipping large items.

No I think it means he's going blow the one who commits the foul.

BACK ON TRACK MUNCHKINS! Ok, so lets get this straight (pun intended), when is the socal caravan heading through Atascadero/San Luis Obispo/Central coast area? Lets get this figured out so Kory, The Doctor, and I can hop on board (pun intended again). See you on the road.

Are you out of your mind? I say HELL NO to the 101, that would take us 6-8 hours. we're taking the I-5 but not sure yet if it will be.

I-5 to 152 to 101
OR
I-5 to 580.

Maybe we can meet up somewhere. If not on I-5, maybe breakfast at 152/101?

I can make it to the bay area in 3 hours from my house, taking the 101. That, and I've never had an encounter with the CHP on 101.

But if you are decided that 5 is fastest than that is the way we will go. Probably meet you at the HWY41/I-5 interchange, that is closest to us.

I would say go I-5 to 580, definately easier drive than going 152/101, you have to deal with the 880 interchange as well. 580 is the way to go.
