Man, where do I begin....
finishline, love the spam image
I have all the resources to make what chuck offered, what was offered before that chuck made should be offered again, this business will be part-time, I have made a deal with chuck to take ownership of rotary extreme which killed capital to have parts in stock... I would love to open a shop, but it’s not needed for selling parts, however I do have a deal with a shop that can do collision repair, paint and bodykits... but they are not rotary specialist... and.... they don’t need to be to install general auto parts/ turbo kits/upgrades. They are a reputable shop called Pio Pro autobody.
I know chuck got into engine building, but without a shop I can not offer these services, the headlight kit... I will have to contact the fabricator of the housing and if all goes well I should be able to offer it too.
I am still working with chuck on what will be offered when the site comes back online. Again the problem is inventory because everything needs to be reopened under the new business license.
Since the shop closed down I have seen other shops try to offer the same stuff, well all I can says its just not the same as rotary extreme products.
The site will open in middle to end of summer 2008 and at that time I can start to get a feel for what the community still has a desire for.
Please have an understanding that the site is basically starting from scratch again, but still has the ability to offer most of the rotary extreme manufactured parts.
Any q's please email me

Sounds like a great start. But in all honesty, The special thing about Rotary Extreme was the fact that Chuck was working there and has priceless knowledge about the RX7 and rotarys, It was an actual shop you could bring your car to. That is what set it apart.
But I guess we can't complain since it's like getting an awesome resource for parts back.

FadedFD, I totally agree with you.....
Chuck was the reason for the sites success, lucky I still talk to him on a daily basis so I'm not exactally starting from scratch.
On another note, ofcourse the goal is to eventually expand and open a shop, but I'm going to take baby steps because I want this business to last and not go under like many new business owners.
I am a big rotary fan and I have always wanted to have a business like Chuck's. I just didnt think that this opportunity would come my way. So since I'm re-opening the site it will take time to ramp up, but the good new is that I have the resources to bring back the products that Chuck made himself.
Ben
p.s. thank you series7

Teddyrx2, Im going to focus on the bolt-on upgrade stuff. Since this is a side-business for me... at this time.. I am also going to be limited on what I have in stock. I know that Chuck had a good amount of inventory and got stuff shipped fast. The last I want to do is ruin the reputation of Rotary Extreme with the change in ownership. I will have the contacts to what was sold before but since the business was closed and now going to be re-opened the accounts need to be re-opened also.
I do not believe I will stock any electronics or body-kits but I should still be able to order them.
I will offer the v-mount, suspension pieces, oil cooler and fuel upgrades, headlight kit and what ever non-related electronic products he offered... basically the hardware stuff.
I am still working with Chuck on what will be availible at the time of opening. I need to contact everyone and see who is still around.. example.. vendors, fabricators, parts suppliers.
But I just wanted to post here to let people know that the site is comming back, it will just take me some time to get it close to what Chuck had.
Also I am keeping everything made in the states to support our economy.
SpeedKing.. good point, I believe in some extent that copying is OK.
example: JDM parts... very expensive, expensive to ship and hard to replace.
reason is to make the parts available to the USDM.
It's just sometimes the copies suck.. other times the copy is modified and is actually better then the original.
Also I will be working on RX8 stuff so I'm in RX8club under benjamz and I am posting over there too.
The biggist goal, get enough product redy to have a vendor booth in this years sevenstock.
I don't know if anyone remembers me on this forum, I even forgot my member name.
But here's me back in sevenstock 5 .. LOL!!!!!!
