Plus you can legaly import a RHD FD from japan, as long as it's vintage 93-95, and they have a bunch over there for sale, since the FD ran for 10 years in Japan. There's a guy here in Socal that did just that....

I had an FD but i squashed it in a canyon. im getting another pretty soon(within 5 and a half months). while i wait for it, i look up research for it. how some parts work better than others weight differences HP and Torque gains or losses and i read that RHD is better for the FD, thats why we didnt get it in 92 when the japanese did because we spent an extra year changing it and adding more crap than it needed to be LHD. besides i drive better with my right hand and it looks damn cool.

Maybe you should buy a Kia Sorrento. It would better suit you.

I hope you never plan on going to drive-through windows at fast food joints. Also, RHD makes it hard to see when making left-hand turns. Where did you read about all the extra 'crap' put onto the USDM FD's? Our cars are pretty spartan to start with.
What was the VIN of the squashed FD? There is a guy on these forums who keeps an FD registry ( www.fd3s.cc ), he might want to keep track of the FDs that are definitely off the road.
