Cruised up to the R power annual bbq in Pasadena on sunday. It was a hot *** day but there was a good turnout...cool cars and people and of course good food. Plenty of old schools to go around, dueces, threes, trucks, a four... felt right at home. Even a nicely done father and son '73 rotary dodge colt and a couple sevens, third gens and a super tight black 1st gen, as wells as a right hand drive savanna. It was cool to hear all the rotaries winding out comming up the street...reminded me of the old days sittin at Fatburgers on La Cienega waiting for the homies to show and see who's runnin' that night. Big ups to Johnny, Nabor,P-nut on the grill and the whole R power crew for puttin' it down and treating all visitors real properlike. Anyone who missed it ( Wacky and co.) will have to wait until next year I guess Good lookin' out fellas...see ya at SS. Tom G

 

dang. I missed it again. Got drunk too early last Sunday and I couldnt drive back from IE to LA

 

Cripes! I missed it too. I guess there was a thread in the West coast forum but I rarely go there. I guess there's next year.
