Nothing really, i'm just having them do my urethane bushing swap for me.

I also called there looking for some suspension advice(sorta) and emailed them a pic of my current coilover setup(which is very unpretty, dirty, not a very attractive blue, nothing is anodized) and he kind of pissed me off. not the owner, but some bafoon that answered the phone. telling me it looks unsafe and they would charge extra for installing something that looked like that. just annoyed me talking to him.

well, actually i am looking for pillow ball mounts to replace my current universal camber plates. I have tokico illumina shocks on some no name coil over setup(well, it may have a name, but its not on the coilovers, and i bought them second hand) and i was just wondering what would work.

then the jackass started commenting on my coilovers. told me to just man up and get some teins.

that bafoon might be the mechanic and most likely will be doing your swap..i dont think the owner would be doing it..he is the owner for a reason.

Well, i took my down there the other night. Its still there right now. But so far i'm pretty satisfied with everything. They had really good prices on some nice motul oils so i had them put that in there while i was at it.

Since i got a much larger racing beat front sway bar, it was hitting the oil pan a lil bit, and they are making me some nice aluminum spacers. again for a really good price. so i really appreciate that.
They also looked over the car, and gave a couple suggestions.
Even found a vaccum leak i didnt know i had. Good Job PI guys.
I'm having them install a couple other simple Pain in the *** things that i really just dont want to do. what can i say, i'm pretty lazy.

Overall, i've been pretty happy with the prices they've qouted me, and they seem like a decent shop to take my car to for some installs. Also they are helping me out a bit with my suspension issue, which is a big deal for me. Taking Micrometer measurements and calling manufactures finding specs that will upgrade my current suspension for upgrades.

Cant wait to get an alignment and see how the car feels with new bushings and an upgraded suspension.

Umm... theres a couple other small things not really worth mentioning though.

nice. Orange high rep'in the rx7 forum. lol

How do you see their shop by driving by on batavia? its practically hidden from the street. i mean the first time i went to their shop, i passed it on accident, and i had directions on how to get there.

I defintely like their new shop 10x's over their old one, but that shop had so much exposure on Tustin. Its really a prime spot for advertising. Well, i see that they have a lot of business going on at their new shop and thats great for them.

i say take your car to them. They got my **** done pretty fast when i had an appointment. my only gripe thus far is, i've been asking for a price summary for the work they have done for 2 days and they havent got back to me yet. My car was appointed for monday. they kept calling me asking, if i wanted this to be done and that(oils in the engine, trans and diff and a couple other small things) so i asked for them to call me back with a summary of the charges thus far on monday afternoon. They didnt call me back so i went down there monday evening to check it out. all the work i had scheduled was completed. and they were waiting on parts to finish up some of the bushing install and the custom sway bar spacers. He said he would email me a list later that night, but hasnt yet.

This isnt a big deal, but i would just simply like to know what the damage is so far, so i can plan other purchases around it. i would hate to rack up a bill and be like, 'whoops, can you wait til thursday when i get paid?'

But other than when i talked to doofus on the phone about my coilovers, i've had an excellent raport with Steve Friday and the crew down there. I even saw a really old friend i knew from school and the street races from back in the day.

I guess i was a little misleading when i said i see the shop. I see the sign to their shop when i drive by. I don't need any work done. I'm in that line of work myself. I was just curious about the place since it's so close to home.
