Post your 2008 MLB predictions.
Right now is a crucial stretch in the regular season. With about 20 games left in 2008 here are my predictions by division:
AL West
Angels - this one is a no-brainer. Didn't really need to pick up Mark Texiera, but more power to them, right?
AL Central
White Sox - Jermaine Dye is having a helluva season. Carlos Quentin has been HBP for 6 games in a row now
AL East
Devil Rays - again, a no-brainer, this is indeed the team to beat right now. They are untouchable, but first they would have to go through the reigning champs, Red Sox. They will be alright without Longoria (ROOKIE OF THE YEAR!!!)
AL Wild Card
Red Sox - sorry Yankees, but having the highest paid roster won't get you too far.
NL West
Dodgers - this is my team, in the worst division, once Furcal becomes healthy, they should have a tad bit better record, but do not disregard the Diamondbacks, Brandon Webb is truely something
NL Central
Cubs - best team in the NL, everything is going well for them, Dempster was a good discovery
NL East
Phillies - they have volatile clean-up hitters
NL Wild Card
3-way tie: between Mets, Brewers and Marlins
Brewers - after being switched to the NL, C.C. Sabathia has been invincible
Mets - defense wins games, they need a good bullpen if they want to survive
Final verdict:

In a fantasy world, that would still take 50 years for the padres to win. I think Trevor Hoffman is the only padre I can currently name. Oh, Greg Maddox. Anyway.
I think the Devil Rays will have a collapse and the Red Sox will take over. Angels will meet the Sox in the American League Division, Sox will win again.
National, With power in the line-up the Dodgers are a wild card (They will win the west, and could go far in the playoffs), if there bullpen can stay healthy. Penny was a huge loss, (although His numbers were crap through out the season). As much of a dodger fan I am, The cubs are well rounded and will most likely face the Brewers or Mets. (Pending collapses by either team). Then the red sox, might even go back to back world champs here.
If the dodgers somehow make it, Oh the drama with manny wanting to hit a homerun against his old team. That would be great.
Anyway, Im sure there are more logical answers then mine, as I am just a fan.
But another question to ask,
Who was the most disappointing team of the season.
---- While most might immedialely say the Yankees. How about the Tigers? The expectations of D-Train, and then getting Cabrera put them as early favorites to win the World Series. Now look at them. Insane. Anyway,
Have a good day,

You suck at sports!
Yea, I'd have to agree with you. Yankees or Tigers. You see Tigers were supposed to be good after the Willis and Cabrera trade. They just collapsed.
Yankees, let's see: Chein Ming **** (sp), Andy Petite, Chamberlain, Posada (I-Rod), sucks but injuires are part of any sport. Next year, One of the AL East teams will have their feelings hurt.
The Rays were a pleasant surprise, like surprise buttsex.

soccer sucks ***. 3 hours watching guys kick a ball out of bounds. then someone throws it in only to kick it out again. ooohhh, it's such a nail biter. I wonder if it'll be 1-1 or 1-0. Most idiotic sport in the world. PERIOD.
Baseball is only fun if you actually go to the game. Watching it on TV is horrible.
