it's just a matter of saving money for a DSLR rather than using countless rolls of ISO 400 film

that's the problem with night shots with film... unless i get a faster film speed, the picture will remain grainy. xP

i still hope to become better... just barely started this year using Manual Focus SLRs.

 

I have a nikon D80 and guess i need to have some one show me how to use it. I just know how to turn it on and set it to auto everything and shoot.

no manual focus?! well, it helps once in awhile especially when shooting at fast speeds (ie: watching a car roll - the distance between the camera and car may change before the shot).

but other than that, i guess you can have aperture and shutter priority.
that's why i chose these old school SLR's.
forces me to learn the fundamentals about photography and the SLR itself.

i'll definitely give the Nikon D80 a try.
