on to correction #2
my car came with a ait racing gp knock off kit, which fit great.. however that rear bumper got snagged on a speed bump and distroyed.. i had got a lesser quality knockoff gp rear in a trade deal. I got the bumper to fit, but its not as good as that AIT kit was.
Here is the good side fitment

heres the crappy side

in comparison, here was the AIT gp rear when it was good *minus the crack and sag that could have easily been repaired*

Im just thinking how i can clean this up some

Im just tryin to overal clean up the fitment of the car before we paint it. Id rather not spray the car and be disappointed with the gaps so im trying to take care of as much as i can. etc, *i kinda like the car in the satin/flat black because gaps and all that doesnt really matter much hahah*
All the blemishes arent too noticible in the way the car was looking
i know i didnt originally build this car, but i do enjoy and take pride into working on it myself as all of my cars, i like to consider that a "tuner", someone who works on it themselves to improve upon it. Its art and passion.
you like that hood? your car would be clean minus the falken decal and a tII hood instead *do u really have falken on there?*
wooo
i cut it

I cut the piece out of my old bumper because it was actually alot cleaner, would be easier to cut and glass this in instead of trying to correct the warped area

i don't have falkin tires right now but i normally run them... and a t2 hood doesnt work as well as my hood.. the vents let out so much of the hot air that it doesnt get hot or get close to over heating running the track or canyons and the scoop used to go to my old intake set up
Haven't posted on here for a while since there hasn't been much happening with the 7. I check this page daily to see everyone else's ride and I'm so envious! I'm saving up for college (trying to pay off at least tuition by myself with the help from financial aid) so my big plans for a turbo swap is on hold.
My Seven is just my weekend fun car but my dad has been taking it to work and daily driving it for the past two weeks. And of course, being a Rx7, it broke. One day I got home and I saw my Rx7 sitting on the driveway which was weird since my dad usually has it. There was a small puddle of liquid underneath the engine bay. It wasn't until I popped the hood yesterday that I found a small leak from the waterpump. It was a long awaited replacement anyways so I'll fix it in the next week or so. I did however replace my BAC valve and started on replacing my o2 sensor yestrday. Along with the new waterpump, a Koyo might be going into the car along with the removal of the heater-core. Basically my plan is to drive this 160K NA shortblock to death in the next few months and put the car in non-op until I have enough money to work on it.
Here are a few pics, it's been months since I washed the car:
