It's true. Mine broke in about half a year worth of use. The sound quality is really not as good as what they were priced at MSRP. However, if you were able to get them "refurbished" from the Monster employee site, they were a good deal.

 

I don't know man...I got them for $60 and I still feel like they're not worth the money. True, lots and lots of bass...but that's about it? The rest is mediocre.

Yup, anything priced under 150 last year was most likely a fake from China. However, I doubt Jaime buys fakes and I got mine directly from Monster. And they're not what they're hyped up to be. If you want a high end set of buds, fork over the money and pay for the good stuff or just settle with some cheap ones, because they just won't be as good... You can grab legit sets of these for pretty cheap now because people are realizing that they were nothing more than a fad.
