No i based this off the NUMEROUS accounts of people with an (at the oldest) 8 year old car with blown engines. google "S2k blown engine".

Again, i point out the fact that you clearly dodged, why do you think honda bumped up the displacement to 2.2L? and dropped the rev limit to 8500???

BOOM!

I know you dont know any S2k owners that have hurt their engines, or the 5 people you know havent, but the fact is there.

Hell there are people on here who have never blown a rotary, and others who have gone thru 4 engines in 5 years.

just because YOU dont know anyone who hasnt blown a motor(yet) doesnt mean they dont or arn't likely.

I have never blown my two rotary motors, nor have I ever blown my S2K's motor, thus S2K > FD.

Now Junk It!

You are wrong. I do know someone who had blown their engine, he's a current forum member here. How did he blow it? Simple, he missed shift - user error.

Honda bumped up the displacement not to gain more HP, but to enhance low and midrange power. (AP1 = 153tq vs AP2 = 162tq)

No engine is 'bullet proof.' In many cases it comes down to the owners. Treat your car like ****, it'll return the favor.

Just got back on here. LOL yea I know the s2k's engine liablitity. The thought behind this would be to get it to have a ride w/style while getting the 4-banger gas miliage. Although there are better cars to choose from, I just cant see a FD turning into a civic, or accord. It would cut my soul.

Also this is one of the best times to buy. Labor day weekend. If I cant get the deal I want. I walk

Im not a ***** who just settles. And yo jason. If I cant get what I want here. ill hit your friend up and see what deal he can throw at me.

Thanks again guys. I find out later today.
