AZ Possible NASA Automotive Swap Meet this April

NASA Arizona (www.nasaaz.com) is in the early planning stages of an automotive swap meet to be hosted at the annual “Night Event” at Firebird International Raceway in April 2010. Event logistics are still being finalized but the end result will simply be a huge swap meet in a laid back atmosphere. There will be a registration process through NASA Arizona (costs TBD – NASA members will get 50-75% off) and participants will be required to have a one time “Special Event” business license (see link below) issued through The Gila River Indian Community. Spaces will be sold on a 1st come 1st served basis.

If you think you may be interested in registering please e-mail Jake@nasaaz.com to be put on a list so that an appropriate sized area can be reserved.
For those not familiar with the event, this is the largest NASA sanctioned event in the country which attracts the top drivers and teams from around the world. As one example, Tarzan Yamada was the driver for Team Crawford last year! The event is promoted via local radio stations and multiple national publications (i.e. Primedia) reaching millions of consumers.
ATTENTION Vendors & Businesses: If you are interested in becoming a part of this highly visible and historic event, please contact Tage@nasaaz.com for details on sponsorship opportunities.
