ported motor pass smog?

ported motor pass smog?

i have a 3rd gen with efini turbos and a list of mods but if i were to put on the full stock exhaust system, my stock ecu and my airpump back on will i be able to pass smog with a fresh ported motor?

i don't see why not, you just need a good fresh catalytic converter. my 2nd gen passed easily with a stage 2 streetport.

It depends on the port

Big bridgeport = haha, good luck
small streetport = probably

It also depends on how the other stuff on the car is working. Some cars have trouble passing with the stock ports.

I had a huge streetport with cat and no air pump, but I was running a microtec and tuned it three times and passed.
