I ask you folks on the 7 forum versus the S forum because ya'll are my family.

SSRs with black lug nuts. The red ones don't match with anything else.

I like the S2K but it's just underpowered. They chose the wrong motor for it. I can understand wanting a high revving motor but they could have easilly dropped in a V6 in there and given it more *****.

POWER? 5 (it's mediocre but it's no civic)
fun factor? 10

It's the best I-4 honda on the market IMO.

No doubt that this car is underpowered, my large unit friend. Hell, I thought it was broken when I test drove one for the first time, coming off a 15lb daily driven FD. The S felt like a dog and I even asked the dude who was selling if the motor was busted or if there was something majorly wrong with the car. It almost felt like there was a map sensor hose that came loose.

However, this S of mine starts every single time I turn the key, it has never heat soaked on me nor has it looped an idle minute. I crank the AC on warm days, on hot days and rev the **** out of it with no fear.

Not saying my FD's were junk, they treated me very well both on the street and on the track. I just won't be looking to rebuild my F22 once I've reached 80k miles.

FD vs. S, my S loses.

I just don't want to spend any more downtime.

Driving worry free all the time > boost leaks, vaccume problems, white/blue/black/any color smoke coming out the tail pipe and especially rolling sniffers.

 

that's y you're supposed to have a DD and the beast. so in the downtime you still have the car that gets you to where you need to be while the other gets the treatment. It still looks nice but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

see the thing is, I've been on this forum since '02 so I know SOME of the people from 02 and up. I am not divulging my old SN to keep those who banned me off my nuts (although I think my posts are kinda telling but not enough for them to jock my nuts again) and he didn't like a "noob" he didn't know talking ****. Rather than tell him who I was I just said, "ok." I don't really care that much.
