I'm hoping to get on the dyno. Is there anyone driving from So Cal up there? Here is a list of my mods:

Pineapple Large street port
2pc 3mm Ceramic seals
850cc/1600cc injectors
Cermet A coated rotor housings
Stage 3 oil mod
Greddy T-78 (clipped and lighten)
Monster V-mount
3" downpipe
TEC 3R (EMS)
Electromotive coil packs
AEM wideband gauge/sensor
EGT (located after turbo)

I do have an extra bung 6" down from the turbo exhaust housing, if Steve wants to use his own wideband its really easy to acess.

OH just a side note: Do I have to pay extra to get my car tuned for 2 maps? One on 91 octane and one on C16, both at 15 psi. Or just pay more for the dyno time since it will take longer?

There is absolutely NO point in using race gas if you are only going to run 15 psi.
Race gas is for 18+ psi.
Besides, you can do both on one map afaik.

EVERYONE not assured of a dyno spot needs to have an accessible o2 sensor bung to accomodate a wideband o2 sensor for street tuning.
The dyno has a sniffer for those of you assured of those spots but may be a good idea as sometimes Steve likes to use his own wideband sensor.

Damn got to this thread too late. Is there any way we can be notified when the next tuning session will be and e-mailed? I'm definitely up for it but because of the holiday season (my industry) I'm hyper busy. Please put me on a short list!

I can add you to the standby list without a deposit on eithter Saturday or Sunday since all of the reserved spots are full.
This is a link to the dyno shop in Santa Rosa:
http://www.blacksheepperformance.net/

Those with reserved spots should be at the dyno the same number of hours after it opens as the spot they have reserved. i.e. If the dyno opens at 8 am (which I will try to get them to do to accomodate everyone) and you are in the third spot, you should be there at 11 am. If you are not there when it is your turn, you get bumped to the next spot. Odds are it will take longer than an hour to tune each car so you might be standing around and waiting awhile.

Of course you are all welcome to show up first thing and hang out and watch or bench race.

Hey guys...so it looks like my engine has developed a minor leak (champagne bubbles in the coolant), but otherwise the car runs great. Although it looks like a rebuild will be in order eventually, I'd still like to get the car tuned with the single turbo setup. Do the tuning characteristics change that much with a rebuilt engine? I'm a little torn as to whether I should get the car tuned first and then rebuild since a tuning session might be difficult later on, or if I should just bite the bullet and get it rebuilt.

Let me know what you guys think.

Sorry to hear that Allen.

I would still get it tuned. As long as you don't change anything like the porting and keep the fuel pressure the same you should still be real close after a new build. Odds are with a rebuild, they will reuse everything except the water seals, especially since your motor is still fairly new.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. The rebuild would probably be seals only since it is fairly new.

Cool...that's what I wanted to know. See you guys in a few weeks!

Update as of 11/30.
sirjury opted for standby status as he is unsure if his car will be done. I have bumped Touge Monster up to the 4th spot to fill sirjurys' vacancy.

This means we have TWO VACANT SPOTS that are assured of getting tuned.

I also talke to Steve yesterday, He is flying in Friday night and flying home late Sunday night. Drinking heavily will take place Saturday night in the City if anyone is interested.

Saturday- 12/17
1. RX-Heven (me)
2. allenhah
3. Alex
4. rynberg
5.
Standby:

Sunday- 12/18

I don't know about the heavy part, but I'd definitely be down for a couple drinks Saturday night in the city.
