"Passing" smog
"Passing" smog
So I'm trying to sell my 2005 GTO right now so I can get back into a FD3S. The car has LT headers, catless mids, ported TB, and a big cam and was wondering if the car will "pass" smog. I know when I had my FD3S, it barely "passed" smog but I do not know where to go "smog" my car. Could anyone help me out? PM me please!

Mexicans our are friends, my hood was never popped and the huge *** shiney exhaust I had the guy doing the smog check said he never noticed it wasnt stock
Then a CHP gave me a ticket a week later or something

You'll definitely need a cat to pass. The big cam might hurt your chances but it's probably still do-able. Go ask a piston-head about it. Why you asking that here?
Other than that just make sure everything's up to spec, not tuned too lean or rich and so on. Warm up your engine beforehand and use good gas.
