OPINIONS PLZ headlight conversion "conversion" lol

i got these lights i had before cuz i broke/lost my original headlight covers, they r the cheaper of aftermarket lights i admit but i jus recently converted my conversion, i couldnt afford a sleek look before cuz they start at like $500 plus. so i got the cheaper ones that now run for like $130.. now by simply buying $6 dollars worth of flex glass and using other house hold items i was able to jump my style by $370 dollars. lol, here r the before and after pix. wat do u think???.... i also got a different bumper.....

Note: THIS IS MY OPINION AND IN NO WAY A SUGGESTION ON HOW TO MAKE YOUR CAR. You build your car for you and not for everyone else.

With that said

I like the headlights better than before but I still don't like them over OEM. It probably would look a lot better if the bumper was color matched.

I don't like the front bumper.. too wavy and wanna be Evo IV fogs.. Not to mention they retain the older turn signals over the 99 spec ones. I can't give a really good opinion until I see the front bumper painted. Good job at finding a cheaper DIY headlight set up though.

Also the 7 on the door seems strangely out of place.

looks amazing. I just dont know how you got it to fit flat over the lights..cause it looks like they'd hit. Maybe cutting/sanding? I dunno. if I gave you the same exact lights could you make that cover for me? haha

Much MUCH better than before.

Foglights on that bumper...not too tasteful. Some Bumpers look good with them, some are just not very well suited... my .02

in all honesty, it looks better then before, but nothing beats the pop up lights.. For me its OEM head lights or nothing..

also, i honestly think your better off with a 99spec bumper or an OEM s6 bumper. not really diggin the bumper. it is a step up from your original ones, but still a step below looking great..

but thats just my opinion.. keep us posted

I dont like either of the lights, and the change isnt a step up for me. You're making your car look really cheap. Im not sure whether your hooking up an eclipse or an rx7, and thats sad because rx7 is a beatiful car. You need to take those off and put back the stock lights, please.

well my after market lights came wit a under housing and i had to make it more open so the lights cud drop in more. had to remove some of the housing, the lights also had 2 be moved back... hard cuz some metal from the oem lights housing got in the way, had 2 use metal cutters to remove some metal, , then its jus a matter of making the lenses outta flex glass and after adjustment after adjustment u get sleek lights! ta da!!
