A few changes to the caravan from LA.

So here we go again. Our group will be meeting as usual @ Starbucks/Sav-On parking lot in the Silverlake/Frogtown area (3 blocks south of Salazar Mazda). I dont have the exact address but it is located at Glendale Blvd and Fletcher. Meet at 6AM for 6:30 departure. This will give you guys time to get your favorite starbucks coffee, winchells donuts, gas, pack up on soda/drinks/ice, and ATM.

In the past 2 years, there were more than 2 dozen cars (old school to FD). As usual, we will be making a stop on the 605/105 PARK AND RIDE parking lot. This is for those who live in the Cerritos/Norwalk/Downey area including South Bay and San Gabriel Valley.

LA/SILVERLAKE
To Starbucks from SF Valley
Take 5 South, Exit Fletcher/Riverside Drive - right
Starbucks is behind a 24-hr restraurant @ the second traffic light.

From Glendale/Pasadena area
Take 2 South
Exit Fletcher - left

Start

There are 4 gas stations within a 1/4 of the meeting point. UNOCAL, CHEVRON & AM-PM. Vallero Gas is located at Riverside Dr and Glendale Blvd.

2nd leg

From there, we hop on the 605N then back to the 5 freeway South (OR 91 East to 5 South) to Mazda HQ

 

both points are equal distances for me, maybe i should gather at the 2nd leg?

Yes, donuts and coffee are available from Starbucks and Winchells. McDonalds is located 2 miles north along Fletcher and San Fernando Road.

Well, Im a law abiding citizen so we will go within the speed limit. Besides, I havent driven my RX-3 since I switched to first gen suspension/camber kit.

 

Well i might be there you never know though I am thinking of just towing my car overthere it has not been driving for about 20 years i finally drove it the other day to get the vin check at the dmw ran good but i do not know about testing it for the first time trying to make it to ss9 from east los.

Damn this caravan is literally down the street from my house....!! Too bad i probably won't be able to make it because i have a stupid halloween party to go to later that night. What time are most of you gonna leave from SS, if you'll be leaving at all?
