Official Socal Postwhoring Thread!!!
Hey which one of you socal guys works on FCs? I sold a guy from SoCal my TII, and he said it leaks oil now...it never did before and I said I'd prolly help him out on the repairs money wise, but if hes going to take it to the Stealership...I'm not down. Also the reverse lights don't work (We both knew this when I sold the car), which is most likely the stupid sensor that plugs into the transmission, so which of you has wiring knowledge as well as the mechanical knowledge and doesn't want to charge out the ***?
(Serious post in the Socal thread....bad idea, but I figured it was worth a try)

tell him to get under the car and look at the side of the tranny...for lose wires or a wire that might be broken, ripped,or thrashed...the oil problem ha...ask him where the oil leak is coming from or might be coming from...try and stop him from going to dealership...there going to **** both of you guys
Well I don't plan on giving him more than $100, since we both knew about the reverse lights. (That's what the $100 was for), but the oil leak...he drove the car 9 hours home, so that's not my issue. It was in perfect mechanical condition. Posted 0 HC, and 0% CO when I smogged it too.
EDIT: I don't think he'd go under the car. Just doesn't strike me as the type, since first thing he did was call the dealership, which told him it's $100 to diagnose a problem and that goes towards the repair.) You know 3 hours to fix a 15 min problem, since you have to factor in everyone's lunch break, talk time, etc.

yeah i hear that...well if thats the case...im pretty sure he will not go with some back yard mechanic who may very well know his **** better then all the dealership mechanics put together...but it is worth a try...
hell no..that's too far for me..i remember i wanted to go, then i look at how long it was going to take me..i was like fudge that *****..your going to be on the road for quite awhile too since your farther..
