Yeah, it never was growing up...but I lived in Japan; so that's probably why. How many other Shawns are there on here? None of my friends call me Shawn anyways, that kid just got butthurt about something I posted before I pm'd him about other serious matters. He then posted that, I'm guessing not seeing it until today (while not looking at the time stamp).

Hell, I've never met jonesfromindia (aside from when he told me about his "wide-stance" on the phone) and we already rag on each other.... people take life WAAAAAY to seriously.

I had a friend named Jean-Phillipe (whom we called Shawn coz it sounded less ostentatious) while growing up. And I worked with a guy named Sean once. But that's irrelevant to the rotaries so...moving on...

On the 7club, we have my SO (Shaun) who's supposed to be resident on the NorCal thread but haunts this one just as often. Then there's the guy who posted about the R100 and Rx3 getting stolen (Sean). And then there's you (Shawn). And then there's me...(female equivalent of Sean in a Paul/Paula kinda way).

 

Shawna/Seana/Shauna?? Can't be a bad way to live, though being very close to your SO's name would be kinda weird. Going to social events would kind of suck.

Yeah, it is weird. Would probably get worse living in the same house and having people call for one of us. Whoever answers would have to figure out..."Do you mean the male or the female?" My mother calls me Shawna. I suppose that would make it easier. Easier to hear the difference between Shaun and Shawna than between Shaun and Siân.
