Over the last 10 years the SoCal SevenStock caravan has continued to grow every year and I expect this year to be no different.

As you all know SevenStock is being hosted at the World Famous AutoClub Speedway so what better way to kick the day off then by making our grand entrace with 200+ RE cars.
This location will be PERFECT for us given we've used it in the past, how close it is to the freeway on ramp, and the easy drive to the Speedway. Here is a picture of where we will be meeting up:

• GREEN area is where we will stage the cars - preferably by Generations
• Pink are the different entrances into the shopping center
• Blue is how we will exit onto the freeway.

Meet up time for the SevenStock 17 caravan will be on: 11/22/2014 @ 6:30 am in front of Borders at the Brea Plaza Shopping Center. We will promptly leave for Fontana @ 7:15am. We should arrive at our destination by 8:00am which will ensure we all have an opportunity to display our cars in the MAIN Stage.

We do not want to arrive prior to 8am as only Track Registered cars will be allowed in at that time.

For those who have not attended prior SevenStock events, when we first arrive at the venue we will all be parked in the "pre-staging" lot where cars will be arranged by generations. ie; 1st Gen RX-7's, 2nd Gen RX7's, RX-8's, etc
Later on, a limited number of cars will be moved into the main lot where the SevenStock show will take place. Space in the main area is LIMITED and will be on a 1st come, first serve basis which is why we are arriving so early.
Parking in the Main Lot means you make a COMMITMENT to staying there until at least 3:00 pm. Unfortunately there are zero exceptions to this. Our contract with the Speedway, the manner in which vehicles will be displayed, AND our Insurance Policy prohibits us from moving vehicles before then but don't worry because time will FLY by and there will be plenty to keep you occupied all day.

I'm torn, as usual.

Considering the recently updated start-time announcement ("No one to arrive before 8:30am, roll-in at 10am") and my starting location on the one hand which says I could sleep in, versus joining in the fun with the caravan while more than doubling my driving distance (53 vs 22 miles) & having to wake up work-day early on the other hand...

What a dilemma. Must think on it.

 

Those of us coming from AZ would GLADLY trade you on the commute.... what a dilemma indeed! For crying out loud, it's SS . Get your **** up and burn some hydrocarbons with the rest of us The lineup is one of the best parts of the day!!

Can't argue with this Divindriver! We are fortunate to be so close while others nationwide wish they were here! If divingdriver makes it to the caravan, I will buy two dozen glazed donuts from Krispy crème for the people who go. Just not sure how warm they will be considering the nearest Krispy crème is in City of Industry.
