ben does do good work just takes a bit of time trying to get it back but really good work ive been enjoying my car since i got it back

 

What does Ben generally charge for a rebuild? Like with a running core that just needs seals

I've heard mixed things about Ben.

Anyways, I don't touge during the day. Middle of the night only for me. I mentioned the Mt. Hamilton run because there are absolutely no cars and you are so far out in the middle of nowhere there are no cops which also means there is no gas. It takes my boy 3/4 of a tank in his crossfire to do it so it is out of the question for us Rotary drivers as that would equal at least a tank for us.

Only complaint I've seen at Ben is taking a long time. But he tells you ahead of time hes busier than hell and don't expect your car back super soon. He's usually got 4 cars in his shop at a time..so usually people are like the 5th rebuild when they drop their cars off. Other than that he does top notch work. I forgot what he charges, but it's less than any other reputable shop out there.

i just got a S5 engine from a customer ( it was just sitting at their house so i got it) i can pull the exhaust studs off of that, as far as a RB header all i got is an old school Rotary Engineering header but it is promised to someone else but if it falls threw and if you want it, its yours.

 

I'm still going for sure.. rx7 running find today dam car has a mind of its own, but if not in that, then in my rsx yeeee.. vtec
