Me and my chick are running out of places to eat. And so can you guys please post up places to eat that are good? and cheap? price should not be an issue though.

Please, please post up the name of the place. Address, and number, and what plate is good to order. Pics and prices are optional.

Here is my contribution:

Please don't trim...your thimble would look quite lonely on it's own.

Most of the places i know are in costa mesa/cerritos/irvine/orange county area.

Since you are in LA i do not know how good that would be.

Places that i know off the top of my bed. I am pretty **** about what i eat.

Japanese:

-Shin Sen Gumi: Near the 405 and brookhurst, good hakata ramen, about 10 bucks a person. They also have a Yakitori bar next door which is good.

-Fukada: Near Research and Irvine Center drive in irvine, japanese cold soba/brown rice lunch combos. Usually 9-11 bucks a person for lunch or/dinner.

-Koryu: More tokyo style ramen, near Baker/Baer in Costa mesa. 10 bucks a person too.

-Tsuruhashi: Yakiniku Japanese BBQ: Grill style is Korean influenced: About 25-50 dollars a person including beer usually.

-Manpuku: Japanese BBQ, Grill style is more japanese style, but i still prefer Tsuruhashi more for taste and flavor. This place has more atmosphere. Same price as above.

-Oki Doki, 2 branches: One in Costa Mesa, one in Garden Grove. Same menus, but Garden grove has much less crowd. Yakitori/Izakaya style. Price is anywhere on how much you order.

-Ikko: Traditional sushi, great presentation, do not go here unless you are ready to spend 100 a person. Been here only 2 times. Every time is an experience of its own. In costa mesa off Baker and Bristol. On Baker near the ARCO gas station.

-MIMI Sushi: Brookhurst in Costa Mesa. About 40-50 a person. Good sushi alternative on a more modest budget. Very fresh and good quality eel.

-Mitsuwa market: in costa mesa, many great small places to eat at 5-9 dollars a person at the food court. near bristol and paularino.

Indian:

-Royal Khyber: Near south coast Plaza. About 40 a person. Very rich, north indian food. I like the Butter chicken here.

-Dosa Palace: Good south indian food. Not the usual naans, curries. More traditional, about 10 bucks a person +. (tustin, off red hill)

-India Cook House: 9 bucks everyday lunch buffet. Cannot beat the value. North indian food is the focus. A la carte is ok too.

I know some places off pioneer blvd in cerritos in little india. I forget their names.

Others:

-Beach/Bravo Burger: Huntington beach, about 7-15 a person.

I mainly eat indian and japanese and some american food. I know a bunch more of other places. If i think of them, ill post them up.

If you want GOOD indian food, better to try fullerton, cerritos or costa mesa.

I recommend Royal Khyber, even though a little more money, is def worth it. Good for first impressions.
