Too much mileage (~3K miles roundtrip from Seattle) and I don't want anymore dents or rock chips on the 7. I figured it would cost the same to drive down there or to fly. Flying just eliminates the long trip....but damn it would be so nice to drive with all of you. I'm depressed.

Yeah, that's me. The project in my driveway is a car that i'm parting out at the moment. it's my old TII.

Swing by Aroma's sometime if you see either of my FCs there. I'm usually driving the black TII.

that's true but you wouldn't have you're car, which is kind of the point (for at least me anyways). and rock chips can be avoid by a clear bra... or ghetto blue bra (painter's tape) lol. but i'll join you in depression if i can't finish my car in time.

Rock chips happen no mater what, dents happen. A car is made to be driven have fun with it no garage queens here.

Yeah, I won't have mine but I get to ride with Gene and his FD when I get to Irvine so I'm satisfied with that. =] Rock chips and dents do happen but...I'm trying to avoid that. lol..my car is definitely not a garage queen. It's my daily.

I havent bought my tickets yet because I keep debating...

It's across the parking lot from Chevy's over in Railroad Square. I'm there fairly frequently along with a few other forum members like Herrafass, malevolent7, darkling...

There is not an entrance fee or ticket required for 7stock, however for the 7Stock dinner on Saturday night the tickets are $55.10 each.

You can buy them here:
http://www.rotary13b1.com/mm5/mercha...gory_Code=ssxi

Well worth it, if you are a true rotary enthusiast.

With other info here:

Any of you guys think about getting a truck to ship our cars down & back for us?

Gas might be just as much. Let me know if any of you guys are interested. I'll do some research to see how much it'll cost if theres enough of us.

I vote for 4am as well if I do end up driving.

Hmm, flying down messing with the TSA and airport at both ends and my car riding in a Truck and hopefully getting there in time VS driving down at 85-120 MPH and having everything with you and your buddies in their cars...

Not much of a choice IMO, driving is the only option for me.
