Yea that is a pain in the ***, used to do those at Benz. Some were easier than others, depended on what type of axles it had. Some had axles that bolted to flanges on the diff. Others were splined shafts, they were worse because you had to disassemble at least one side of the rear suspension to pull that axle out. Then you had to manuever the differential away from the other axle. I sure don't miss that!
