XS Power I/C? How do you like that? I've torn my FD project down to the bare block again f'in with those damn sequentials. I may end up ditching them and going single to avoid frustration. Death to the rats nest.

Ahh... been a while since I've posted on here. Well it's good to be gangsta again. Ben finished up my ride this week and now I'm breaking it in. I got to meet Jackie, Juan and Tony outta Vacaville (go Air Force) while spending time at Ben's shop.
Took the 7 out for a late nite spin around the block after getting it from Ben and had kids up my tail pipe and guys trying to rev their engines as I cruise by. Can't a brutha just roll around the block in peace?
Anyway... I'm anxious as **** to get the motor broke in and have Ben retune it. Nothing spectacular about my mods... all pretty mild but props to Ben for quality work. About the only thing that's uncommon with my set-up is the cat back. I have the Tanabe Medallion Concept G exhaust which is meant to keep sound levels below 93dB. So if anyone is interested... I'll see about doing a sound clip.

Yeah, had to put my wheels back on... just took 'em off while the car was getting worked. Just doesn't look right with 16's... hehe. I hope ur keeping ur Volks Nick. Maybe use 'em for the track?
Yo Mike... can't say much about the XS Power IC yet but it should work better than stock. It's an Ebay special but the welds are solid plus it's not a tube/fin design. I'm gonna get a custom aluminum radiator plate made after I get my custom IC air duct from RX7nut_13B. I'm all about function and form so it should hide the fans and help direct engine air flow.

I'm gonna get back out to events now that I'm rollin' again. Oh... I got to hear the exhaust while my gf drove the FD. It's very quiet at low rpm's but still sounds throaty. My Advan tires are still the loudest sound in the cabin at hwy speeds so that means no shouting and I can hear my tunes.

Yeah Evan, Casey is right. The underdrive pulley's really don't do much. I'd spend your money elsewhere if I were you. And congrats again on getting your FD back. That exhaust sounds damn nice too!

Ben did you ever overnight those gaskets. I was expecting them on wendsday and I still havent recived them. The guy buying my FD is really impatiant. He wanted to buy it this weekend

sorry but i didn't get a chance to drop them off until Saturday Casey, been busy with Evan's car and wanted to be sure you were ok with a slightly torn main turbo gasket since i have no idea where the one off Jackie's car disappeared to. i would suspect it should be there tomorrow.
was sure i had a better one around somewhere but the shop is still a bit messy and disorganized so it's as good as i can do.

Oooh yeah just picked up another t2 this one has a rebuilt turbo!! Ineed to get ahold of Ben so he can rebuild the motor for me,it runs but hell why not..lol So after a little break from the 7 i have come back ahh feels goood!

anyone interested in a Stage 4 BNR TII turbo, my friend is gonna sell it after he gets a bigger one, less then 1000miles on it, but it should be below 2000miles, should be off the car as soon as ben has room lol.

Zach, maybe I missed it but what brand sub woofer is that? It sure looks fancy. I also still have that center console for Berry so next time I head up that way to sac for either a meet or family meets ill try and bring it with me..
I am sorry for my lack of being around.. I have been at work a whole lot busy with life changes + job deadlines needing to be met... staying until wee hours and weekends.
I was so close to coming out to that cruise the other weekend too..
