Boring as hell; engine crane stopped functioning too, so the busted engine stays for now...

So when not tinkering with your machines or working, what do you guys do for fun, or just to pass the time?

Alright guys, I'm looking to get into sliding but want something different than a 240. How do you think I would fair with a FC Turbo II as a daily drifter sort of car just to get a feel for the sport? I know they are fully capable drift cars, but am I going to run into constant headaches? I'm fairly mechanically inclined but don't know much about rotarys. Are they really as scary as everyone plays them off to be?

I have had many sports cars and to tell you the truth the rx7s that i have owned were pretty durable. specially my old 1st gen with the 12a engine, i would always beat up on it. as long as you do your maintenance and check for leaks you are good. I now drive a turbocharged miata its fun as well but i do miss my rx7s, hoping to get a gsl-se maybe this year.

Ehh... Looks like an N/A RX-7 with a large dent in it. I would go take a look at it personally; but probably won't purchase it (not without a reasonably low price).

Its an SE. 4 lug with a one-legger diff...Nuff said.

I had one for my first FC. It was a decent runner but I realized that it would be cheaper in the long run for me to just buy a TII rather than do all the work to my SE. So...I did that.

You should offer him 1 dollars. I hate people who post their **** without a legit price on it. On a serious note, aside form the huge dent its hard to see the rest of the quality of the car from those pictures. I wouldn't pay over 800 for it

I'll be checking it out next Saturday, and not planning to pay a thing. If all's well, straight trade for my Celica. This would become my daily, meaning no mods ( as ridiculous as that may sound).

Looks like no ROM for me. Radiator hose blew on the freeway, luckily near my dad so he was able to warn me before it got any worse. Guess I'll see you guys next month.

It say's turbo but has GXL decals....?

If it is a turbo swap you'll have to worry about getting it smogged and who know's how good of a job they did with the swap.

Could be one of them " it's a turbo " people and someone who actually know's a thing or two goes to check it out and it's just a regular N/A.

For example, a guy over on the Z forums went to look at a "turbo" 280zx to use the drivetrain for his 240Z. Pop's the hood and doesn't see a turbocharger anywhere and asks the owner why he said it was turbo... Owner points to the fuel injection cooling fan that sits next to the valve cover and says that's the turbo right there....LOL
