It was great to meet you all, Steven: Thanks for letting us all show up and hang out. Then you could pick up an FD and sell your FC to your nice girlfriend, don't let her get away from you either. A keeper definately!. Hopefully your driveway is not covered in various oils in the morning...

Ben: Thank you thank you for letting me swing by and bother you some more.

Nader: Good find on the wifey. A keeper she was very nice and seemed like she enjoyed our masses of car talk... I saw no bashing of heads into fireplaces though...

Thanks to the cooks and hosts and everyone for showing up! It was a day well spent.. Even if I have to see my ugly mug in some of those pictures. We should do it again sometime... easy for me to say though not being the host.

Here are my pics at the gas station in case somebody didn't get in some of the others. They're cropped down for people with small <snickers> bandwidth.

I wish I'd taken some day light photos.

Steve - thanks for hosting and tell your parents the same. I'll send those receipes later.

Everyone else- thanks for the good food and company. also it was nice to put faces with more names from here. Oh.. We need to do a fun run sometime!!

Great meet everybody! Thanks to all who came out! I can't thank Steven and his parents enough for hosting! And to all of the Bay area people who made the long drive out, we all really enjoyed meeting you. Good pictures too from everyone. I haven't uploaded mine as of yet because there is some photoshopping work that needs to be done.

Everybody remember that the X-mas party meet will be at our new house in Rocklin! I'll be starting that thread shortly.

My personal favorite is the one of Nick dancing with the shrubs. Closely followed by the pic of Nader getting out of his car.

Sadly I did not get a picture of Nick holding my Ding Dong.

I vote for Nader exiting his car...

He needed his hat before we could eat. It just wouldn't feel right any other way.

Hey Nick.... about that white M3....

To bad you turned off when you did. I stopped at the red light on Bogue and waited for the M3 instead of turning right and going home. The guy pulled up and yelled out that he had 3 peeps in his car (some older guy w/ wife n kid). I yelled out that I had 2.5 in my car.

He got a slight jump when the light turned green but we both launched. He had me by 1/2 a car length when I slammed into 5th...opps.. not 3rd. Oh well, I ain't the first to do that in a FD.

He slowed down while I upshifted to catch up. He threw out a thumbs up and I did too then I turned on Lincoln and headed to my cozy couch.

hehe, i want to see how my FC fares against a near stock FD.

i know once i up the boost(only at 5.5psi atm) it will kill a stocker but i wonder how it would do as it sits, though the bottom end is lacking due to my porting it does have a nice feel up top. i'm sure it is still no comparison though but i want to see anyways.
