i'll talk to Zack tomorrow and see what the plan will be on a poker fun run. i also like the idea of cruisin out west. give some of these other folks a break on driving. maybe move the poker fun run that direction as suggested earlier.

the way i set it up the run can be managed with one or two bodies. i don't need much to organize it.

oh.. nasty.. one of the guys just got hit with a short notice to deploy. coulda been me. hopefully i will have 4 wks before i hit the road too. i'll be on leave and in the area for the last part of dec if folks want to do a mini meet.

i'm down for the movies/dinner or whateva. i know of a great mexican restuarant in vacaville if folks want to meet in that area.

bed time.. out

Evan

The place I was thinking of is Burrito Place. I ate there a few times and like it. I was looking it up.. it's on Marshall.

Well we should get a better feel for what folks wanna do by next week.

Why is that I always wind up racing somebody when I leave Zach's house. I usually don't bother. I took out a Harley sportster.

Oh... funny... Jay got pulled over last nite for taking the exit off Bridge st into Yuba City to fast. Lucky bastard flashed his ID card and got off with a warning...hehe.
Damn Miata owners!

Berry said she had no clue what an Intenational Scout 80 4x4 looked like. So here's a pic of mine. It's the first year model. It has the half cab shell and bone stock. Previous owner installed some jump seats and I think the winch is upgraded. The 4 cyl engine is a V8 chopped in half. 3 sp non-syncro gears. Which means double clutching for you youngsters. Not running at the moment cause it needs the dual master cylinder and a wheel cylinder replaced. Losing brakes on the highway is scary business. I'll get her on the road again after my desert trip.

oh, btw, this is the cheap *** ebay intercooler and 2mm thick piping kit, less than a $400 full front mount kit that i helped nick pick out and im pretty impressed with the quality of everything supplied.

i got major wheel hop all throughout the runs i had. i got terrible times. i know my car is faster then that but bad launches kicks you the the ***** hard.

i went with slpin..he ran a 14.4 if i remember correctly..untuned. it was a good experience since i've never been to the track before..just regular street races.

ben, that looks very nice.

With that FMIC do you get to keep Power Steering and AC? Or do you have to remove one or both? From those pics that cheapo ebay IC looks pretty nice.... Suprises me as well.. wonder if there is something wonky with the flow rate or something of that sort?

Looks good!

300rwhp @11 psi with fat exhaust leak (dp is warped to hell), and boost issues.

When I upped the boost to 15 psi it went to 14 psi @ 4.5k rpms then tappered down to 11 psi @7k rpms or so where it made peak hp.

The progress on Nick's car looks good.

Berry and I got back from the D1 last night. All I can say is DAMN!! We had a ton of fun. I'll be loading all of the pictures soon enough.

I think that maybe we should start a designated postwhore thread since we are all so bad about it. That way our meet threads will be able to stay on topic. I have talked to a few people and they said that they always have a hard time finding the info about meets because we all like to talk to each other so much. Just a thought though.

Zach
