nor*cal mazda meet

wuts up peoples. im from the mazda6club/mocc and i want to plan a meet w/ all mazdas can hang out maybe do a lil mountain cruz or just hang out and bbq and eat. but i would like to extend a invitation to the rx7 club. it would be great if the rx7's can make their presence known. this will hopefully be a big meet where we can just get to know each other. so i am going to TRY to coordinate w/ as many forums as i can(you guys/girls, 6club, mocc, miata, 3club...ect.) so yeah. hopefully i can balance my studying w/ coordinating this. so meet will be on november 5th. i was thinkin around the san jose area maybe de anza college because they have a big parking lot and alot of the beamer clubs have big meets there. but still open to suggestions. i will need a rough head count so i know about how many people will be going. so giving me a thumbs up or ok will be a good start. miata club estimates around 30, the 6club around 10 and yeah. so mark your calendars. thanks guys and i will keep everyone updated.

-DLuxxx

ps. Please help me and tell any mazda affiliated clubs about this meet. thanks guys.

You'll probably get more of a response closer to the date of the event.

Keep us informed though. I may be interested. Right now all my attention is devoted to SS.

You could always come meet us in OC.

already did...hahaha... but miata members are coming up with good ideas where to meet. patrick henry drive next to great america. big parking lot and no one to call cops. cuz theres no buisness during the weekends. but as long as we dont cause too much of a scene i think we'll be ok. so the 2 best places so far are de anza college or patrick henry drive next to great america? what ya'll think?

I'm in if the meet could get pushed back a week or two. I'll be getting back from the middle east right around the 5-10th of November. I'm sure that the rest of the NorCal 7 club will make it though.

May I make a suggestion? Find a park near San Carlos, then hop on highway 84. Pure driving secks, almost like it was built for a drive. Went with my friend in his Porsche 951 on a euro car drive and it was a damn good time, he even let me drive on the way back!

My attendance will be contingent upon my decision of what I wanna do with my car, but yeah, i'll try to make it.

you could always hold it at a park in San Mateo...

The only one I can think of is Coyote Point...but I haven't been there in years so I don't really know the status of the damn place...

so i got a PM the other day from Rishie from auto RND... a local `so apparently he wants to offer his parking lot to be the place we meet. now he says we can do raffles and different events and he wants to try to have other companies involved with this meet. so this will make the meet more appealing to other people. i think this is great because it gives more insentive for people to go. i myself think this will be a great location. his store is located in milpitas. he's one of your sponsors to this forum. so i think this will be a good idea. but of course i want everyones opinion.
