Just replaced 6 pillow ball bushings in the rear suspension of my FD and the clunking sounds are now gone. Can't wait for the next track event (April @ T-hill) & autocross season to start to see the improvement in handling.

 

I'm not sure you will see much of a difference in handling, unless they were really loose. It sure is a nice feeling to get rid of those old noisy bearings.
