Nhra Sport Compact @ Pomona
Wish that were true but this says opposite. Scroll down to "all motor".
Ohhh, so you're saying Mazda won in past years but not this year? That's better at least.
Here we go, try this list and check out the cars they drive:
http://www.nhrasportcompact.com/stats/career.html
2 Toyota, 1 Chevy, 1 Toyota drivers in RWD/FWD then the first all motor driver (in 5th overall) has a 2 rotor FB. Next all motors are RX-8 w/ 13B, Honda Insight w/ k20a, Civic with k24.

I've been reading some more. I'd combine with above post, but it's too late to edit.
Check out page 40 of the class regulations:
http://www.nhrasportcompact.com/2007...ssRegs2007.pdf
FWD 4 cylinders are given a huge advantage in this Honda sponsored class, while rotaries get nerfed. Rotaries must be ~200 pounds heavier for their minimum weight. RWD 4 cylinders must be ~100 pounds heavier than FWD. Boost is prohibited in the all motor class. Also keep in mind that the minimum weights are all around 1600lbs whereas they're 2000-3500lbs. for other classes. So 100lbs. makes an even greater difference.
In the RWD class the rotary cars are allowed to be 100 pounds lighter than the 4-bangers. 6 cylinders must be 700lbs. heavier in RWD but in FWD they only need to be 100 lbs. heavier. The turbo inline 6 Toyota Solaras grab the most wins. The GM Ecotec is nerfed with an extra 300lbs. in the Hot Rod section and 100lbs in the FWD section, yet it also does pretty well. In the modified class RWD 2 rotors and AWD 4 bangers are given the advantage, while 6'ers and RWD 4 bangers are heavily nerfed.

i got burned alil but got stuck in ontario on my motorcycle the whole night, the winds were so bad i stayed at a gas station all night and no sleep. I had to tow it today in a uhaul then it fell in the truck scratching it up. It costs me 150 bucks but atleast i didnt kill myself trying to prove that u can ride a bike in 60mph winds. Looks like i have a lot of buffing to do to get it out. I should have asked for a ride from u manny but i didnt think my bike would fit. Your car does looks **** tho

Hey everyone. The weekend was hot hot, wish there was more of you rotary people out there. It was pretty hot almost boiled inside my car while a bunch of other pist-on cars oiled down the track, made me wait inside the waterbox for 10-15 minutes with 5 layers of Nomex firesuit from head to toe.
Well anyways i got to race in the Pro All Motor class and boy they are freaking fast.To bad my Rx7 had a bad missfire i could not find the problem on time ,some sort of ignition break up,My motor was revving fine at times but was suddenly loosing power under load.My data logger showed the rear rotor was burning good
then going to sudden rich then back to normal.Jesus Padilla was lending a hand in trying to find out the problem just before my last run on SAT.It just did go fast enough to take on the field.I ran a best 11.5 et @115 with a bad bog on the line and misfire but i kept my foot down and went for it.The cut of was 10.3 for sunday race.
