Welcome to the boards. Best of luck with your FD. And get a hold of Guitrajunkie for the parts and/or tuner request. You can also check out Dave Gibson at Speed Machine Performance in Escondito, CA.

welcome! i live in westcovina, so we're like 10 mins away from each other if that. today was the first day i have taken my FD to a shop, and i took it to Rotary Reliability & Racing to have it checked up. It's all the way in Santa Ana, but i heard good things about the shop, so i went all the way over there (30-40mins).
werd,
nice to know there are locals. iwas raised in w.c. went to west covina high graduated in 96. and i will check out some of the local shops thanks for the tips. what are peoples choices for after market turbos (i know this is going to open a can of worms but i will ask anyways).

hahahahahahahahahaha,
You're lucky, or unlucky, the most of the belligerents are driving S2Ks. Cause, you'd get the old standard soooych NOOB!!!
Have you checked out the 3rd gen section. Search and ye shall find. I personally don't like the lag of singles... although a few of the smaller ones seem to spool quickly. I'd upgrade to BNR sequentials.

BNR modified twins are really nice. Or you could look at a GT35R kit from A-Spec. I know that you can have that turbo and still keep your air pump. I believe that you can keep it with the Apex'i RX6 kit as well. Both of those turbos will spool up incredibly fast. And both will top out between 350-400whp MAX if I remember correctly. Just to clarify, I'm talking about a T3 hotside GT35R and NOT the new T4 hotside variety from A-Spec. Just my .02
