you will need at least a piggyback to take some fuel out if you put those injectors in, otherwise you will run a bit rich and even with a piggyback you may have hard starting issues depending on the compression of your motor.

what was the main point of upgrading your fuel system? more boost? if so then at least go with an SAFC, otherwise step up and go with a standalone EMS for best results.

cool thanx ben...wut if i go with just the 720s for my secondaries?...im upgrading because im running at 10lbs of boost now...but my injectors seem like their going out...symptoms are: flooding and rough starting, wen boosting it jerks, pauses, then boosts...sometimes my boost gauge sees psi rising but i dont feel the boost....seems like its not adding fuel like its supposed to...and it doesnt boost until ive been driving around for awhile.....would i have to get a fuel rail and regulator also?...if i got an safc, do u know who i can go to for tuning it?..lemme know..thx man...randy

Randy, I would imagine that Ben could tune the SAFC for you. In fact I'm 99% sure he could since he ran one in his TII back in the day.

Rob, so you picked up an E30 huh? That's cool bro. You should give me a call sometime so we can hang out and have a beer. I need to get at you to get the contact info from you for more NorCal 7 gear.

So how has every one been? With seven stock out of the way (which I didn't make...again ) we should plan a new meet. How about ever one posts up some ideas, we all kick it around and make a meet for the second weekend of November, about a month from now will give us time to get it together and let every one know about it.

yea i can tune an SAFC, it sounds like you may have other issues going on though like a coil pack that is phasing in and out, check for spark at all 4 plugs to be sure all the coil packs are working properly. i would stick with the 720's in just the secondaries otherwise you may have even harder starting issues than you currently do. as well make sure your TID does not have any large cracks in it which will cause the engine to run richer than normal and also will cause starting issues.

$1300 for S4 n/a, 1350 for S5 n/a, 1400 for S4 TII, 1450 for S5 TII and 1600 for FD.

tuning runs $75 per hour, an SAFC should take about 1 hour to road tune.

Hi everyone. I'm from the Rx8club forums. We meet every Friday night down in Union City, in the Union Landing parking lot next to the Krispy Kreme. We try to get there at 7, and go get food at around 8. Any of you are welcome to come, I never get to check out enough 7's at the rotary shows.

Do you guys have a regular meet somewhere? Maybe we can drive out to each other's meets, or have larger collective meets/drives.

Also, if any of you guys do runs on twisties let me know. I'm always down for some fun, and the 8 community is too worried about gas to go on drives
