New and Improved Autobacs Thread!
Exactly! Old bolts, rusted together, dirty... it was a mess! Those parts haven't been touched in 18 years. In the end, stainless steal braided lines, T2 front and rear calipers, T2 master cylinder, new rotors all around. I found one rear caliper had a bad rubber seal around the piston, so it's a good thing I'm swaping over.
Honestly guys, I'm down! Let me know, I feel like an expert now. I've ran into pretty much every worst possible situation. I don't have any experience making the hardlines, but I hear it's not hard.
we could do a brake swap meet at my(as well as nukeall and finishline) work. I got plenty of floor jacks jacks and stands. I gotta swap out my front pads on the t2 very soon anyway. How about next weekend? BTW the shop is in Signal hill.
can i get paid as well? LOL j/k
well, whoever goes to the autobacs meet,
show some love in Torrance next time.
Gary and Alvaro set this up every month just for us rotor heads,
and the least we can do is just sit on our asses and eat and gain weight.
errr,
i mean sit and chat about rotary.
