I can see that thanks to two specific "elitists", this thread has taken a turn.

Anybody know where I can find Bose tubes and black rear storage bins for a 1993 Mazda RX-7? Doesn't have to be specific to an R1, Base or Touring model. I sold mine to a dude in Irvine a few years back.

Thank you for the advice, Mr rx-7 tt

If you convert it to run on Soybean oil, it'll pass smog just fine.

Sounds like I should come take a look at it since I'm out here visiting my brother. Then buy it and drive it back to Iowa. I will park it next to my FD in the garage. The nice thing about where I live you can do any thing to your vehicle and never get bothered by a cop.

Why don't you start a Nevada corp. with a p.o box address and register it out of state as a business vehicle? They have a mail forwarding service too, so you can get your one piece of mail per year about the Nevada safety inspection and reg renewal. I think this might get around the residency requirement of a personally owned vehicle being registered out of state. I am looking into doing this myself. Basically your "company" is leasing the car to you.
