i just took the UIM off to install my injectors, I am going to be replacing primary and secondary. I need someone to take over from here cause this will be the first time that im doing this and i dont wanna mess it up, I will pay 200 to: remove some or all of the rats nest, install injectors, and replace vacuum lines that are accesible from where we are at. I have all the parts needed. I will have beer / drinks / food and a garage to work in. call me at 265 7172.

If you had a Camera you could of taken pictures before you started for reference. Don't be afraid to tackle the job. Take your time and there are FSM on line for reference. Personally i would not remove the rats nest. With smog laws it is more of a pain to put it back on and it does nothing for performance. It just makes it look cleaner.

 

i have an idea on how to piece it back together, but there are things that I dont know if i should go back and forth with the fsm on, i think someone with more experience would be 10x better. yeah I dont need to remove the rats nest, was trying to go bare essentials but right now is probably not the time.

 

Dude, you can do that work.....it's all common sense. The injectors...."stick".....in. You need new o-rings from kragen and then just push them into place. Leave the rats nest until you are more familiar with each component. Take off one vacuum line....measure it against new...cut the new one and put it in........... place move to the next vac line. Simple as that.
