state farm. was 74.21 and then went down to 68.91 per month ofcourse. i think they only classified it as a hatchback and not as a sports car.

$68??? I live in Las Vegas and our prices are pretty comparable to So Cal. I pay $157 a month for full coverage and I think that's pretty damn good for my age (20).

Try here:

http://www.esurance.com/

A lot of young E46 M3 owners are getting good quotes.

try wawanesa

I pay about $600 a year for full coverage.

I should note that the car is listed as a recreational vehicle which lowers the cost of insurance.

Agencies like AIS or ESurance broker you to serveral different companies and/or out of state small companies. They can put your liablity with one, comp with another. Getting things fixed isn't simple. Most people look for cheapest price which is fine if you expect the cheapest repairs and cheapest customer service.

I use Geico and pay extra. They have excellent customer service, don't limit you to their shops like 20th century does and I have extra coverage for the boltons and stuff. Amex through Costco is cheaper but I have to call and ask about what I mentioned previously.
