Need help.

Hey everyone, I have a question. But before that, I'll explain what happened. I was dropping off my girlfriend at her dorm and when I was exiting the school, my exhaust fell. I got out the car to see what happened and the cat was on the ground and one of the tips fell and broke. I have a 90 rx7 turbo 2. I have the APEXi N1 duals on it. My question is if there is a way for me to use one of the exhaust instead of the 2? One didn't get damaged but the other one is worthless now. If you have any advice, please let me know, thank you

As far as I know the exhaust is a single exhaust with a y pipe that splits it in to a dual muffler setup. You should be able to eliminate the y pipe and run a single if this is indeed the case. If you are running a true dual setup then you could add a y pipe and run a single muffler.

Would running the Y pipe with the single make a lot of noise? since the other part of the Y pipe is open

Yes, and both low and high end performance would suffer.

You would have to take it to an exhaust shop and have them replace it with a piece of straight pipe....or have a welder buddy do it for you.
