Someone with a NA S5 FC in OC that can pass smog. I need to get my car passed. Theres money in it for the person that steps up to help me out.

Since the smog technition would need the VIN of YOUR car, not his...

 

What I'm trying to get at is bring you car or VIN?

I'm not sure if mine will pass smog anymore,
I have a apexi intake and N1 duels with no silencers (+ headers, so it's extra loud I had them last smog and passed with stock exhaust from the Cat back. )
I don't know about the new evap test though?

 

I just have to supply a car that I can take there. Then they plug in my info and smog the car in my place... My guy is pretty lax and visuals so as long as it passes then its all good, and no im not junking the car you guys are funny...

 

I'm available and I just passed smog about 7 months ago. I haven't modified the emissions equipment since. Although I did get a paint job and they took off my HKS CARB sticker for the intake.

 

who took it off? the smog guys? what the hell? why, and isnt that illegal? if you get pulled over and the coppers pop your hood and dont see the sticker, they can ticket it you for that.


**Edit**err just reread your post. the paint guys took it off. You still need to get that sticker back on there so you dont get in trouble with johnny law...

 

Yeah, I have to Fax in my reciept to HKS, but I don't have a fax machine. I wish I could just email them!

i dont understand what you plan on doing with somebodys smoggable FC, its not like you can just throw your vin plates onto another car

The last two cars I went to get smogged I intentionally coverd up the vin's on the dash with a random napkin, on the seven I covered the vin on the firewall with a peice of black tape, other car had no easily visible vin other than the dash.

The techs (2 different guys) did not check the vins on the cars, they matched the licence plate to the renewel and thats it. I did closley watch the entire time.
