OK that was a horrible day for me, i was driving and some kid from my the high school where i used to go started trailing me, i could see he was with one of his friends so anyways he was really flooring it and i really didnt give a ****, i would never waste my time in a car like that, for some reason he starts playing around with me changing lanes like crazy to the point where he begins to bother me so without down shifting or anything i step on it and get away, then i see him in my rearview haulin but down the street going at about 70 and i was going around 40, but the i reach a stop light i figured i could ask him what the hell was his problem but as i slowed to about 15 miles per hour he was slowing down right behind me but the light turns green and i really didnt want him in front of me i put my car in 2nd gear and floor it but he just past me, i literally redlined my car and could not catch him. i figured that he had an advantage of about 15 to 20 miles per hour. its honestly hard to know but i should have been able to take him down.
Now i heard from a friend that still goes to the high school and the ***** is already talking **** and i quote " oh yeah that dude in the black mazda, i smocked his ***, his car sucks it just looks cool" and so on , more **** like that. i honestly would like a fair rematch to show him that he should't be doing those things in his daddy's car but this area is heavilly patrolled by cops.
but my pride is hurt, my car is not stock either, i got some tranny work, exhaust, brakes and some minor engine mods.

Your profile says 90GTU... so what do you expect? 160hp isn't fast. Its fun.. but not fast. And by "tranny work" do you mean shifter kit.. like for a auto tranny? If so.. Auto N/A rx-7 = slow.

Well maybe if you had bacon with you victory might have been yours. A turbo helps also, but bacon is good. (And I'm not saying you should have a turbo, just using it as an example.)

 

Don't feel bad. You didn't want to race in the first place. Some people like this kid have no sense of reality and are willing to risk not only his life, but others as well, to street race something as lame as a Grand Am. Not that owning a Grand Am is lame, but racing with one is.

 

thanks for your words socalfct2, i needed to hear something like that to make me feel better everytime i see my FC, now i'll just have to stand this guy talking trash.

bacon is good, but about the whole slow thing sorry guys but i cant afford a turbo model and my car is not automatic, your right it is a GTU but i've been doing all that i can with the hardest efforts to make it that much better, i have a 5 speed tranny with a second stage clutch and a short shifter, and that helps as much.

hey dont worry i got my *** handed to me by a porsche turbo and i got an FD. My injector are shyty and i didnt want to give it all, but like my team say alot "if you race him then your asking for it if you lose you lose but a win is better " And yea bacon is good with waffles
