What are those? New keys?

I need new keys, my door key slots are looser than anna nicoles poon, I'm worried I'm going to break them seriously though...

LOL now that's loose! Solex are special locks that have a double lock feature that are "supposed" to be harder to break into.

The Fc door handles always come loose. 10mm ratchet and 2 nuts

the real question here is:

after breaking the window, will the solex still protect your car and deter theft.

Wink

Why dont you add a motion detector inside your car, alot of new cars have it.......that way you'll know right away if someone is inside your car =) plus youll be able to get him this time

Actually, when you engage the solex locks (which double lock BTW) you can only open them with the key, meaning they would have to climb in and out through the window. I park in an underground garage, a potential thief would have to be really ballsy to risk the shattering sound of breaking a window to get in.

Actually I was thinking something along these lines or a new style alarm that has a signal to your keys. Basically the car send a signal to your keys which have a light that blinks and a speaker that has a siren. When someone break into your car, the car alarm goes off as do your keys and if they cut the alarm, your keys will go crazy letting you know signal was lost.

on fc's whatever lock you put on there aint going to work for a pro car thieve.im not a pro thieve, but i can open any fc with just a piece of cardboard.just letting you know.the hard part aint getting into the car, cause they could just break a windowalso.the best thing is to install an alarm and have 2 alarm speakers one in the engine bay,and in case they cut that one off,the other under the dash somewhere, they are going to go nuts just trying to find that one.oh also some sort of kill switch would help, but i believe you already have one.
