Moving to SOCAL...
Hey guys,
I'm moving to Los Angeles here for college in the next couple weeks (La Mirada). Just dropping in and saying hi.
I also had a couple questions...
First of all, I will need to get my car retuned for the lower altitude and crappy eco-gas down there. To save myself the headache i'm just using an SAFC. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a dyno that knows its FC's and won't blow up my engine? I'm a poor college kid, so a place that won't cost me an arm and a leg would be nice too.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

No it's not Turbo'd
Uh, well your best bet is to talk to steve kahn when he gets back around to hese parts, and have him tune it... other than that, I don't know that I'd implicitly trust anyone with my car.
Maybe Guitarjunkie, or some of the Independat shops can help you make your afr's safer...
I have never dealt with them myself, but hear good things from people who have.. Most dyno's around here don't know jack about Rotary engines... The only other suggestion would be R&R&R in Santa Anna, they have a dyno on premesis....
Well at least you can sell those snow chains now ! Welcome !

There are pretty damned strict smog rules in the Denver area too. Luckily my car is registered in a non-emissions county, so it is legally 100% emissions free. I've heard cops down there can still fine me for that though (among many other things). Since I'm living on campus I probably won't be driving very often, so i'm not too worried.
Don't you guys have arranged meets or anything? Here in denver we have big rotary gatherings roughly 3 or 4 times a year, followed by a cruise. People drive from Wyoming and NM sometimes just to meet up with fellow owners.
