Moving to San Diego

Wus up everybody, well after much thought I am thinking about moving to San Diego. I am ready for a change from Nor Cal to So Cal. I just want to know how the 7 scene is down there. I am most likely goin to visit the second week of November. Can anybody tell me some good places or show me around a lil bit. Any info if appreciated. Lemme know!

Abandon all hopes S.D. Sucks ***!!!!!!!!I Hope you have a great paying JOB set up in line, otherwise this would have been a tough place for me to have lasted for the last 8 years. As far as the Rotary scene goes----- the People that I've meet are Hella Kool. As far As the Event scene goes you better be a creative person in order not to go nutz here.

San Diego is cool. 7 Scene is good, you can mix it up with the people from LA too.

Just because I am looking for something different. Need a change and don't have anything holding me back so I'm like "Why not?"

ew PB is ******* gross. if you are retarded frat guy or are in the military and want to get drunk and hit on skanky girls then PB is the right place for you.

there are far better places to be than PB.

as someone said you better have a decent paying job lines up or a trust fund to live here.

north county coastal is the best part of SD from like del mar to north carlsbad. but its also the most expensive area here.

+1 I can not agree more with the PB statement. However from what i gather Living around the Coastal area in Del-M area is not cheap. ultimately depending on where you are planning on working and HOW DEEP your pockets are, will determine your living arrangement. I am sure more people from S.D. will chime in on this thread.
Obviously we know from your statement that you are single but Age-Income and mental status is a HUGE factor on where you will feel most comfortable here in s.d. "JUST LIKE ANY WHERE ELSE"

We will see where I find a place. I am still looking and you have to "pay to play" at least that is what I am told.

dude PB is not bad at all, it's in a nice neutral location, rent is fair, the crowd is nice, beach is always within walking distance...but if your your anti social like jen, and always have something negative say or think about then yeah you would hate it there too...Downtown is the same way,

You also have

Hillcrest and North Park, Lemen Grove, Del Mar, Point Loma, Lajolla, everywhere and anywhere is nice to live in daygo...Some peeps just have there heads up there *** and are narrow minded and don't think outside the box...

Base what you like to do, with where you would like to live...there is a little something here for everybody...

well hopefully when you make it down here, you'll have a chance to see a little bit of everything. I hardly think this "place to live" is going to be a focal point on you coming to S.D. I like to know where you will end up working or freelancing will most likely determine your final location options.
Keep up posted.
